Marble Dust:

Calcium Carbonate is one of the most common minerals on Earth. Since ancient times it has been used as a building material in it's different natural forms like Limestone and Marble. In powdered form it has a wide range of uses, from paint and paper filler to pharmaceuticals.

In our case, Calcium Carbonate is utilized as an aggregate for
plaster in swimming pools and buildings. Third Coast Imports has been supplying the plastering and pool industry with Calcium Carbonate or Marble dust since 1996. At the present time we are the largest supplier in the states of Texas and Louisiana. Just in 1999 alone, we shipped 28 Million pounds of Marble dust. Our manufacturing plant is in the northern Mexican state of Durango where the Marble quarries are also located. The plant has a milling capacity of 200 metric tons per day or 52,000 tons per year. We produce the Marble dust in three different natural colors: White, Black and Green. Since these are the natural colors of the marble dust, the durability of the colors is excellent. Calcium Carbonate is an extremely stable mineral, which makes it an ideal aggregate for pool plastering. Because of its natural pigmentation, durability and properties Third Coast Marble dust is the natural choice. In addition to having excellent quality, our marble dust is competitively priced. It is conveniently packaged in 100 Lb. bags and then 45 bags are shrink wrapped on pallets. When placing an order, different colors can be supplied in the same truckload.
